VAN DETAILS
how I turned this empty cargo van into my home on wheels
On the last day of 2022, I took the leap into van life and bought my tiny home on wheels: a 2019 Ford Transit 250 with a high roof. I spent the first five months researching, planning, and building out the key essentials to meet my move-in goal of May 20th, 2023.
At that point, I thought I was close to being done, which is honestly laughable to look back on now — but as anyone who’s tackled a van build knows, things always take longer than expected.
I'm not a professional - just figuring this out as I go. Below you can explore the systems and spaces that make this van feel like home.

BUILD JOURNEY
I kept building nearly full-time, with just a few little breaks to enjoy life on the road, until October 2023. Since then, I’ve continued maintenance projects, upgrades, and tweaks as I’ve lived in it, learning what works (and what doesn’t). It may not be perfect, but it’s mine :)
